Help getting Daily Show clips to play

I used to have great fun visiting Comedy Central and playing Daily Show clips. Then they changed their software somehow, and I haven't been able to play anything since. Because I don't have TV, this means *NO* Daily Show!

I've got a Mac running 10.3.5. I use Firefox. I have RealOne Player, VLC Media Player (plays WMV), and, of course, QuickTime.

How do I get my clips back?

1. Get a PC.

2. try using IE instead of Firefox

sometimes I get rejected because of the Firefox, which LOVE and I refuse to give it up even though I can't listen to Peter Werbe for example except with IE.

Do you have OSX? Because the clips are running fine on my mac. :o

Maybe you need to update your software or something. I hate how websites force you to use software that's meant for PCs. It's discrimination, I tell ya.

4. I have a Mac too...

if they are using windows media player to stream the vids, you'll need to actually download WMP for mac os x, it won't play otherwise.

oh yea, and USE SAFARI!!!!!!!!!!! That will get it to work.

5. Use Safari. That's what I'm using and it's working fine.

I have 10.3.x, Safari, and Win Media Player for Mac and it all plays perfectly.

And kick the PC tweeker....

6. I guess I'm out of luck . . .

None of the suggestions (at least so far) are workable.

I'll become a Republican before I use a PC, IE, or WMP (in fact, I'd consider it the same thing). That's why I've got a Mac (latest OS, as I said before), Firefox, and VLC Media Player. I wouldn't use Office if my boss didn't require it.

Oh, well. . . .

On edit: I tried Safari. I very much didn't like it; I deleted it in less than a day. The thing I most vividly remember is that I couldn't accept and reject cookies on an individual basis.
