pls help me id this movie
a few weeks ago, my gf had the tv on and we saw a few minutes of a movie that looked interesting. we had to go somewhere, so we only saw a little bit of it. i would like to know the title of the movie. the only clue i can give is some words to one of the musical numbers. the refrain was something like, "what a straight shootin', hard ridin', law abidin' gal who came from Texas would do."

the setting was apparently some kind of cruise ship. the musical number was performed by two showgirls wearing guns and cowboy hats. i think the movie was from the 50s or 60s.

can anyone name this movie?

TIA.

16. thanks for your answer,
... the "musical romantic comedy" part seems right, but the plot doesn't seem to jibe with what i saw.
