5. He won't be the only one making faces... you can be sure that Poppy and
Mommy Bush (if they show up) will be crying a river over the loss of their son's power grab. Bab's has already said that she doesn't even want to think about the effects of a Bush loss in her household this time around.

17. I just got done icing it after my exercises.
so, in a bit I'm going to put something warm on it to relax the muscles deep down ya know.

I've been sleeping with the warm heating pad between my knees and night and that keeps me comfy -- LOL.

Your turn!

You know us Catholic school girls are so innocent and all. I'm thinking there are all kinds of therapy that will help alleviate muscle issues. But I was told to keep the heat in place for at least 30 minutes. :P

btw: I saw your post about living in Spain. Did you ever go to Portugal and see my people?

21. I wish I had!
I was a kid, 8-11 years old at the time, late 70's... we traveled regionally around southern Spain, but unfortunately I never made it to Portugal. My older sister did make a trip up there for a day with some friend of hers and her friend's family.

I have SEEN Portugal... when our plane from the states was on its way to land in Rota, it was just before sunrise, and Lisbon still had many of its city lights on. It was the first land we saw after an all night flight from Philadelphia. Quite pretty, and made the anticipation of the mystery and adventure ahead that much stronger.

Those 3 years had quite an influence on me.

Oh, and I enjoy a nice glass of port from time to time. If it's not from Portugal, it's not the real thing.

22. good Port is the best.
I have a Portuguese friend that works on the cruise ships and when she comes to L.A. she brings me a bottle of port from home. Yummy.

Makes me warm and relaxed.. heck I'm gonna go downstairs and get me a bit of that stuff right now. :toast:

23. have some for me!
There's this great store in Seattle, called "The Spanish Table", and they sell all kinds of great food and drink items from the Iberian peninsula. Their port selection is the best I have ever seen in any U.S. store. They have 60-year old, 50-year old, and on down to the standard tawnys and rubys from the shelf.

I truly need to splurge on a vintage bottle the next time I am up there. Perhaps buy a vintage from my year of birth, lol.
