What physical tools have you used today?
It's turning into a hardware day.

I've got a server torn apart, I had to hack into my briefcase and my cell phone caddy broke.

  • Torx T15 screwdriver
  • soldering iron
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • very skinny knife
  • two pair needlenose pliers
  • tiny flathead screwdriver
  • a bigger hammer

3. Hmm..
My first day of X-Ray technology lab was today, and I got to use the GE x-ray tube. I darkened the room, took different kinds of films and placed them in the path of the beam, got behind the lead wall, and zapped 'em so I could see them emit light.

Needless to say, I was excited.

5. I actually got it back together again
The cell phone caddy, anyway.

It had a retaining clip so small I couldn't see it with or without glasses so I got it back on by feel and the tip of a pair of needlenose.

Did you know you can weld plastic with a soldering iron. Just warn passersby about the smell.
