It really is a contrast...

Gerald Ford, a Republican, was so keen to look out for our health that he started a huge program to inoculate ALL people against a flu strain that seemed to be very similar to the 1911 influenza strain that caused the famous pandemic.

Whereas today, George Bush doesn't even manage to get enough flu vaccine for just the old and sick.

3. If I re-call right Bush's father had trouble with this also

It was shots for kids if I re-call and he would not give money for it and some city had hundreds of kids very ill and some died. Ended up costing about 10 times the little money it would have been to let this city have the money in the first place. $9000 sticks in my mind about what the city wanted.Does anyone re-call that?
