Promise "Freepers" - Pathetic or Scarey? |
|
I find them a little of both - but mostly they're too pathetic to be scarey.

2. The Promise to Oppress Women! |
|
I think the original poster was referring to the Promise Keepers - who think men should rule women.

4. What my best friend in the world said about them.... |
|
"A bunch of angry white men with some Uncle Tom's thrown into the mix for a little bit of color."
They were in Atlanta over the weekend with that ass-hat Judge Moore (the one who thinks that Federal Court orders does not apply to him). The media was all over it--how wonderful all these men were to come together!
What the media didn't report were the protests outside. Then again, what would you expect?

Individually that are pathetic, however when they fill the Silverdome it is pretty scary that there are that many pathetic people.

7. My father-in-law is a promise keeper. |
|
He is a Baptist. He is a union steward (30 years) and has never voted for anything but democrats his whole life. Ditto for his church. Hard group for me to figure.

13. You mean the "Power Keepers"? |
|
I accidentally referred to the Promise Keepers that way once, and now it's just stuck in my brain as their title.
