Guess I need to get my vision checked. Ugh.

I knew you'd want to know. ;)

4. It's a good thing I'm not vain
I think I should take someone with me if I need glasses. I'm not very patient at picking out styles.

Thanks.

3. I've worn glasses since I was five.
Forty-three years ago.

Now I think I'm at the point where I may need bifocals. It's vanity, plain and simple, that keeps me from getting them. Eventually I'll have to. Damn.

But I think they're not working so good anymore. I'm cold all the time, so I think I might need a bit higher dosage.

19. I would prioritize thyroid over eyes...
but there is nothing wrong with being presbyopic...It literally means vision of the elders. And we ALL know how much EXPERIENCE plays into actually _seeing_ what you are looking at.

As a wearer of the no-line bifocal...I say...GET FRIGGIN CONTACTS and a pair of reading glasses :)! These things are expensive and regardless of Ben Franklin's genus, bifocals of all types just don't work very well. I can't see up close or far away, and nothing is in focus in between.

11. I only have one eye that's going bad
apparently, if I ever want to wear contacts, I'll only have to wear one. Isn't that odd? I've never heard of that before but my optometrist said it was pretty normal.

12. Oh, I thought you said
"My eggs are in bed and stink."

I have lousy vision - I'm close to blind in my left eye. The right's not too bad but it makes it hard when you don't really have any depth perception. I've been wearing glasses or contacts since I was 8.

I just try to focus (joke!) on how much worse off I could be. I could be blind or deaf or confined to a wheelchair. As it is, I just squint a lot.

17. I used to have a friend who was blind in one eye
She tried to explain to me about the depth perception... it just made me scared to ride in a car with her. :P

Yes, we could all be worse off. It could be raining.

(Not intentionally, but looking back it worked out that way.)

I guess I'll see if that streak continues.
