They are standing in the hallway trashing the maintenance staff. Making fun of hard working people who they feel are beneath them.
They really make me sick when they do this.

5. Major flashback from this.

My dad was an inspector for GE back in the 70's. Because my mother had cancer and we 3 little ingrates were in college, my dad took a second job cleaning a downtown office building.

One day I filled in for him and found notes from the office workers to the "lazy slob of a cleaner to wipe out the ashtrays better." If my dad didn't need that job, I would have thrown out all the ashtrays or done something vile with them.

What amazes me is that people who do that have no idea that they may be treating the parent of the next president, doctor or teacher like shit.

is that even if they're nobody's parent... even if they're just the housekeeping staff, they're still people.

My aunt and uncle own a cleaning business and people pretty much treat them, even though they're the owners, like crap. And that's nothing compared with what the workers get. It's really pathetic. Cleaning is honest, hard work. It's sickening to me to see the way some people have to look down on others.
