Damnit, don't take the bathroom stall next to mine!!

God this is a major pet peeve of mine.

I am not working at a crowded restaurant or sports arena.

There are five freaking stalls in the ladies room and barely 10 women that work on my floor

The stall on the far end is the handicap bathroom which I won't use. I also won't use the stall on the end by the sinks because it's right next to the sinks.

I usually take the 2nd stall, leaving the 4th and 5th stalls open (the 5th stall is the handicapped stall).

If there are plenty of stalls, and someone is in one of them, I will never take a stall immediately next to the one that someone is using. I am so irritated when others take the one right next to you. Geez, there are 2 other stalls not right up next to mine - take them!!

Does anyone else get peeved over insignficant stuff like this??

Lift it or sit on it. What exactly do they think they are going to catch by sitting on the seat? Crabs can jump and to my knowledge your thighs and outer butt area are the part that touches the seat, so what's the prob?

3. I use the handicapped stall

if I can. It's usually cleaner, and is never out of TP. And no, I've never made a handicapper person wait.

Pragmatism lesson: Get four mannequin legs with stockings and shoes. Sneak them in the bathroom in a big shopping bag. Place them in the two stalls on each side of you. When the "major" mission has been accomplished, collect the fake legs from underneath your stall, and exit. That should fend off any evildoers from pooping next to you.

considering your personal stall selection criteria, you leave them one choice - to take stall #4. Well, what if it isn't clean or out of paper or doesn't meet some other weird bathroom stall selection criteria they have?

It's just peeing. And there's a wall between you and them - it's not like they're watching you. And I'm sure they're too busy doing their own business to care what you're doing in your own stall. :-)

Don't sweat the little stuff like this. It's bad for your blood pressure.

I just prefer to not use it. And this is a bathroom in a place of business. Heck the cleaning people come through at noon AND 6pm, there is plenty of clean toilets and TP to boot!

sorry :shrug: I never even think about the fact that one is occupied or not. I'm on a mission to find one without piss on the seat (or worse).

And if you're that concerned about privacy, thank your lucky stars you aren't a man (and I'm not even talking about urinals here). A lot of men's restrooms don't even have doors on the stalls (or so I've been told by my male friends).

I used to go down there a lot when I was underage (as do most teens in San Diego). I remember having to pay for TP in the ladies room - lol. Some little old lady would be in there with a pile of folded up wads of TP.

Well that was better than France where you had to bring your own a lot of the time.

I can hold on to the handicap bars so my tush doesn't touch the seats. I do not like toilet paper seat liners. You have to touch the toilet in order to use them. I'd rather just squat over the seat.

I hate when people do it in showers. My sophomore year in college (I was living in a dorm) I use to take a shower twice a week at 7:00 am because I had early classes. There were five showers and I'd usually use to one furthest down. There was a couple that would constantly come in about five minutes after me and start having sex in the shower right next to mine. After a while I started to pick different showers, even though I liked the fifth one best, but they'd still pick the one next to mine.

My question to you is where do you go if they are in #3? Do you just wait till they are done?

#1 is out because it is next to the sinks
#2 and #4 are because it is next to someone
#5 because it is the handicapped place.

So really it isn't all that easy not to choose one next to you if someone has your mindset.

I absolutely HATE when I'm out at night and a drunk guy picks the urinal next to mine when there are literally 10 others to choose from. I'm not one of those freaks that gets scared someone will *eep* look at my dick. No No my problem is that drunks ~~sway~~ while peeing.
