This was a tough week for many. We lost a great man in music, and a great man in Television. This week was a week of remembrance for all the ones lost on 9/11. And we struggle to right this country in the wake of such a terrible tragedy so it will never happen again. God (or not) Bless You all and have a safe and happy weekend.

My parents are on their way from my hometown down here to Austin to see me and my niece for our birthdays this weekend. My mom is bringing homemade chocolate birthday cake. Yumm...
Then the Austin DU get-together to meet Will Pitt is Sunday.
It's shaping up to be a pretty good weekend. :)

This weekend is decompression time (football. Sleep. movies), with a little trip to the smog test place thrown in for good measure.
