I need to (if not apologize) at least try to understand.....
...I am not even sure if 4sanity is around here, now.
(see Thread...The once great State of California)

But, I am 'for one' going to try to understand what he was 'projecting' on us... with his post.

I know we are not 'trained psychologists' here, and I know that such a 'vitrol attack on So Cal' by this poster was truly uncalled for....but what we appear to have here, folks..is someone's father who is overwhelmed by Fear and anxious about his child's safety and future.
Please read the beginning of his post...His YOUNGEST SON is moving FAR AWAY from home.
The family's trip through So Cal traffic seemed to confirm to him..a great FEAR. His son will have to deal with crowded freeways and rough roads...what might happen to him if he get's into an accident or his car breaks down on these busy freeways?

Please let me assure you, dad, in no time your son will be zipping around Diego streets. He is going to have the 'time of his life', here. There are fine folks who will always help in any situation.... he will meet many of his' best friends for life' while he lives here.

Demos...this is a perfect example of the manifestations of FEAR and frustration we know that are a part of our Nation, now.
Remember We ARE THE intelligent ones....WE ARE THE Compassionate.

4Sanity...if you have any questions at all about getting around So Cal...please let me know...
I have always found driving around So Cal....to be an ADVENTURE....

Mrs. Tikki

2. Why didn't you just respons to him in the same thread?
Instead of "calling him out" in another one - which is against DU rules ..

3. I didn't get "calling him out" out of the original post...
I got a "look within and respond with compassion" out of it. I thought she made a good point.
