It left me numb--I didn't know what to expect. I've lived through 3 series losses--67, 75 and 86, and after last year, I didn't think I'd ever see them win. I'm still a little numb, and the way they won the series so easily is in a way anti-climactic. I mean, I'm used to wracking my brains over close games! P.S. That they somehow end up losing!

1. I'm so glad they swept it..
WE need to get used to the Red Sox winning the World Series and then John Kerry winning the White House!

2. Prior four times the team from the state a presidential candidate is also
from has won the world series, that candidate has won the election.

Let's make it five!

Sox to win. It's amazing how things like that happen in our ordered chaos.

I saw John Henry and Tom Werner speak on tv and then the CEO..didn't catch his name.. but he got plummeled with champagne!

5. It was anti-climactic. But....
they also had the momentum, and looked to be a team of destiny.
Let's just savor it!

6. Well, don't pinch me so I wake up! Seriously, I had come to the point
where I never thought they'd win. After they swept Anaheim, I figured they'd get by NY somehow, but then after three losses, I figured there was a curse--after all, I assumed the Red Sox would win--it wouldn't be easy, but I thought they had what it took this year. I guess I'm still sort of in my 19-8 mindset and can't believe how the fortunes have changed in 10 days!
