The San Francisco Dog Mauling – Death of Diane Whipple |
|
There is a special on American Justice about this tragic case right now. I recall the case and how arrogant and uncaring the defendants Marjorie Knoller and especially the husband Robert Knoller were about the death caused by their vicious dogs and how they lied about the same vicious nature of their dogs.
They went into the initial details of the attack - good GAWD! - absolutely gruesome. What horrible memory for her partner and family to be left with. :(

1. yeah I'm watching that too. |

I cannot understand how those two could be so callous about Ms. Whipple. Not only did they refuse to take responsibility, they also accused the victim of contributing to her own demise. They are despicable. And Presa Canarios are ugly-ass dogs.

2. Yes - they were beyond the pale |

I got distracted switching over to the Nebraska game, but I did see the part about them saying it was Whipple's fault because she was wearing perfume. Puh-leeez!

3. It was all anyone was talking about in SF for a while |
|
The whole thing was so utterly strange, even for SF! Seems hard to imagine that wacked out racist lawyers (Noel and Knoeller) would want to live in SF. I never could figure that out...

5. And Noel is s scheduled to be released from prison |
|
any day now. Knoeller due to be released in March 04, she'd be out sooner except she refused to work in prison. What the hell is that about? And how did they become involved with the Aryan Brotherhood? Adopting a 38 yr. old man? So they could breed vicious dogs? So much doesn't add up about this case.

7. Her conviction for Murder 2 was overturned by the judge. |
|
Because it wasn't correct legally (I forget the exact legal issue). She only had to do the manslaughter time. And she'd be out now, like Noel, except she refused to work in prison.

And almost too strange to contemplate. Although those two defendants were so horrid that I'd probably believe almost anything about them.

12. Local (SF/SJ) news says the release date is secret |
|
No doubt that some people would like a piece of them when released.

13. And Robert Noel is not going back to San Fran. |
|
He'll be released to Solano County. Where is that? I'm not real familiar with CA.

the Knollers claimed that Diane Whipple had brought the attack on herself by being a possible steroid user (where they got that from, I don't know...). Ugh... evil, creepy people.
