The latest Spinal Tap classic to hit heavy rotation in my mental playlist. Yes, I watched "This Is Spinal Tap" a couple of days ago and have now seguéd from "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight" to this agrarian-erotica masterpiece. I fully expect either "Stonehenge" or "Listen to the Flower People" to move in within the next 24 hours to get me through the next couple of days.

And the DVD is just beyond compare.

NOTE TO ANYONE WHO LIKES THE FILM: if you don't have the DVD, it's a most worthy purchase. It's got a bunch of outtakes that almost make a second film, in sequence, and it has an ad-libbed commentary track by the group that's yet another excellent way to enjoy a THIRD entertainment option. Also has full videos of a few songs, including the great "Gimme Some Money" (1965) and "Listen to the Flower People" (1967). The thing's loaded.

I will put that on my wish list! I would love to see a "listen to the flower people" video. I always laugh out loud when H. Shearer mouths "I LOVE YOU" (or is it we?)
