Has anyone had bursitis?
I apparently have it in my hip. Damn it hurts. The doc has me on Naproxen but my tummy can't tolerate it. I see her Tuesday, but I stopped taking the drugs because they make me feel so sick to my stomach.

Getting old I guess.

4. What is seismoiditis?
Never heard of it.

I just did the heat thing -- 15 minutes on, 15 off, 15 on again. It helps for about a minute. It feels like two nerves rubbing together.

Yeah, I know I'm whining.... but this is bad.

2. No, but it sounds brutal
I've got arthritis in several areas of my body, or at least I should because of all the broken bones I've had in my lifetime. I started drinking skim milk all the time in 1993, because I had a broken hand that wouldn't heal and skim has more calcium than any other kind of milk. I kept it up, even after I had a bone graft to get the hand to heal, and my arthritis has kind of faded away. Of course, it's good weather right now, but it could come back with a vengeance this fall/winter. But I'm doing what I need to do to keep from breaking any more bones, plus drinking plenty of skim.

3. I think I had it in my shoulder.
At least, that's what my mom thought it was. I had to take a bunch of drugs for it. Skelaxin was one... ask her about that!

(side note... my DH was asking me what drug I was on, and I couldn't remember the name, so I called it Bone-X. Skelaxin, Bone-X, what's the diff?! ;) )
