I have a DU Forum question

I composed a very long and link-supported anti-Bush rant for another forum, and I wanted to post it here at DU.

The forum I posted it at supports quotation formatting , basically <..quote> and <.../quote> (without the ...). Do I need to remove to post it here? Is there a better or more preferred method of setting off quoted material?

Also, do I need to watch out for length of quoted materials? Some of the quotes are well in excess of three paragraphs.

2. Use regular quotes

but if you're going to use html tags use brackets instead.

3. As for quotation length...

limit each to four paragraphs unless it's public domain (speeches to Congress or the nation)
