12. Amazingly, Dusty was a top "booker" in professional wrestling
Edited on Sun Sep-14-03 06:37 PM by mitchum
A booker is the creator of the various scenarios. I would love to publish the scholarly study, "Dusty Rhodes and the Narrative of Performance"

16. Yeah, and Dusty was one of the worst bookers WCW ever saw
He created the "Dusty finish", which was a finish to a match wherein the heel would cheat to win and the ref wouldn't catch it, then a second ref would come down from the back and say he saw it, and to restart the match. It was kind of innovative at first, but then Dusty started using it constantly.

WCW had some of the worst storylines of all time, and Dusty created a good deal of them.

2. Yeah! I love George!
Tearing up the turnbuckles and going nuts. Went to a WWF match a number of years ago when George was doing something in drag, I forget the details.

I was never much of a fan, even when my kids watched. He and his partners are looking for a new location for the professional wrestling hall of fame.

Was a English teacher at a high school (I believe in Georgia) and would only wrestle in the summer or on weekends due to his teaching commitments.

Just something to ponder for those who think pro wrestlers are dumb.
