Attn: Pro Football fans (DU week 2 Review)
Time to review a incredible Sunday.

Redskins Faclons
Coles showed himself to be worth every penny, the man is monster. Ramsey collapse under pressuer they said, 'they' have proved again to be full of shit.

Raven Browns
Rookie QB, so what? When you have a guy that can tell a defense he intends to break the single game rushing record against them and then do exactly that. 295 yards is one hell of a game.

Panthers Bucs
Stephen Davis past his prime? Hell no says tampa who gave up over 100 yards to the man today. Game balls have to go to special teams for blocking 3 kicks including the potential game winner.

Rams 9ers
Is has Warner lost his magic? All signs point to yes as Bulger takes them past a strong 49er team. Granted they did need a rather moronic play by a 9er to get them to over time.

Texans Saints
Move along folks nothing to see here.

Buffalo Jags
Thinking about renaming themselves Patriots 2.

Packers Lions
destroys Detroit; Satan cancels his order for a new fur coat.

Colts Titans
Payton who? MANNING you idiot, shame on you for counting him out.

Patriots Eagles
Are the pats good or are the Eagles crap? You be the judge.

Seahawks Cardinals
That's right keep pretending they suck, but where will you hide when they come to your town and stomp you? That's right the only birds making headlines are those no one suspected.

Broncos Chargers
They win again and no one cares.

Steelers Chiefs
Gods running back came to town and parted the steel curtain.

Raiders Bungles
They almost lost to the Bengals, how happy can their fans really be about that win?

3. Brett Favre done?
Last week people kept saying that Brett Favre was "too old", "ineffective", "washed up". Maybe not. Ahman Green gets 160 yds. and my Pack is right back in it. GO PACKERS!

7. He's still having fun playing the game
It shows in his face. He's been remarkably lucky in that he's not had a career-ending injury, & he's still got just about the strongest arm in the NFL. I think he'll play as long as he can--he would like another Superbowl.:-)

2. Raiders Bengals
I think their fans are as happy with this win as any other. They really needed the W. And as a Bengals fan, I'm quietly optimistic that they could win as many as three games this year. Maybe four. This is the most optimistic I've been in a long time.

And when they come back (after Mike Brown quits), I want nobody to accuse me of being a bandwagon fan. Let the record reflect that I've stuck with them.

9. This Raider fan is embarrassed.
God, what a horrible game. Kitna threw for 300 yards. 300 YARDS!

Gannon looks like crap, but I suspect he's more injured than he's letting on. He better figure out what's going on because Denver is next up and those MNF games are always epics for the ages. I'd rather lose a close epic-type game than get slaughtered, which may just happen the way the Raiduhs look now.

Bleh.

16. Gannon looked like crap. No argument here. But maybe . . .
just maybe . . . the Bengals are a little better this year than normal. It's too early to say either way right now. We'll see.

5. Davis
Stephen Davis past his prime?

I don't think Washington said he was past his prime, just not a fit with the new offense. I think it also had to do with his salary

18. Yeah, you have to give him credit for that.
When he originally made his remarks, I though, "What the hell is he thinking?" Talk about motivating the Browns. And such an unlikely thing to predict. He didn't say he was gonna run all over the Browns. He said he was gonna break the single game rushing record and he was gonna do it against the Browns.

And then he did it. Wow.

13. Patriots rocking the house!
To answer your questions, I think that yes, the Patriots are good, and it is quite possible that the Eagles suck! What was up with those receivers? Did they have greasy hands from too many Philly cheesesteaks?

14. Woo hoo Seahawks
Only fans in Cincy and Detroit could possibly be more excited about winning the first two games. So there's 14 more to go. And there in a weak devision.

19. Redskins fan here..
Ramsey really does look like the real deal.. if the offensive line starts playing up to its ability, he'll have a real shot at being one of the top qb's in the NFC.

Coles overrated/overpaid? Blah. Coles is a top tier WR. Almost unstoppable at times. He'll also make Rod Gardner a better player, at the same time.

Defensively.. Arrington is something not of this world. Champ Bailey better get his money in the offseason.

Last time my skins went 2-0: Superbowl season '91. Although, at best, we'll be a wild card team this year, or at least, should be.

20. yeah, finally some good skill players for the Skins
although the first quarter or so I had that old 'Deadskins" knot in my stomach again :puke: BUT Ramey is the real deal, the Jets are looking evem dumber for letting him go in the off season.

Now, when do they play Philadephia?

21. tell ya how the skins won that game
half way thru 2nd qtr, after the falcons had beaten up ramsey pretty good with lots of blitzes, the skins threw a screen pass that went for a first down. after that, the falcons called off the dogs, and ramsey and coles made 'em pay. :)

22. I think the Eagles are worse than last year
But I find it hard to believe they are THIS bad. McNabb is throwing the ball all over the place and he's playing like he doesn't know the position. The offensive line isn't doing what people thought it would. Reid is being stupidly stubborn as usual and I think he's an average coach, but he's looking like he has no answers at all. Injury problems are serious. They do have too few tools thanks to Lurie, Banner, and Reid - but I think they must be better than this.

The Redskins are my second favorite team, but I want to see how they play against the Giants before giving them much credit. I can't see a championship yet, but there is optimism there at least.

23. BTW
Whatever the Redskins do, I like a lot of their players: Trotter, Armstead, and Arrington to name a few.

And Spurrier has an entertaining style, while Reid reminds me of Dubya too much with his attitude. Reid may act like Holmgren, but he's no Holmgren.
