Poll question: Eventually You'll Be Saying... "I Told You So"
but will saying it bring you any sense of satisfaction?

2. I'll be going door to door in my freeper neighborhood
when the draft cranks up. Just a friendly reminder to the assholes who threw in their lot with the fascist invaders.

3. Other: doesn't apply to me.
I just look from outside, amazed, as one of the most wonderful dream mankind has ever dreamed -- the American Dream -- is bludgeoned to death.

But, of course. dreams don't die. They might as well outlaw the number "pi". It wouldn't cease to exist, and more -- in other countries, people would still be writing 3.14159265358979323... to their heart's content.

The last paragraph, in case you haven't noticed, is a not-so-subtle hint.

10. Organize to reinvent America. Elsewhere.
Even a small commune in, say, rural Paraguay* would do. Establish a revised USA Constitution as the law of the land. Close the loopholes that gave rise to the American Taliban. Strive to grow and prosper.

Pi. You may write it anywhere as long as you have pencil and paper. You can never write its exact value, but the more you write, the nearer you get to its true value.

Pi. It's transcendental.

4. Every chance I get.
As soon as the "Don't blame me, I voted for Kerry" stickers come out, I'll have one on my car.

8. neither did any of us in the northeast.
we feel very isolated up here now. rather helpless, considering our consistant stance, that we have little or no say in government (at least for the next few years.)

but we feel like we did our part. i hope i can speak for others in the northeast corridor when i say that.

9. IF there's a draft...
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 12:11 PM by Rob H.
...I'll be saying it to my religious fundamentalist aunt all the time. I have two cousins (not her kids, fortunately) who turn 18 in 2008, and this fundie aunt was more concerned about gay marriage and stem cell research than she was about the possibility of the reinstatement of a military draft.

I've even thought of a bumpersticker (someone may already make one like it, I dunno) to mark the occasion*: "Still glad you voted for W?"

Edit: *Applies to any number of things: the draft, the impending release of the report that the CIA has refused to release until after the election that names Bush administration names w/regard to 9/11, catastrophic losses in Iraq, a recession, bombing the crap out of Iran/N. Korea/Syria....

11. Apparently, we have suffered enough yet.
To the lurking Freepers who "won", congrats! I truly hope you really enjoy the "prize".
