Big Kitty Karma needed, STAT!
My Mom's rescue cat has been missing since Friday morning. She is a tough little thing, who had spent almost a month stuck in a neighbor's fireplace when we found her. In Tahoe there are coyotes and other scary animals that like to eat such things for a snack, so Mom usually has her kids in long before dark, but HRH (Her Royal Highness) is stubborn as well as tough.

Please send all good thoughts Mom's & HRH's way -- they are both going to need them!

12. Thanks for the family good wishes!
Sometimes our four-legged family members can be as worrisome as any teen with a driver's license out there. :)

2. Lot's of karma and good thoughts coming your and your
Mom's way. I'm in love with this cat and I never met her. Just remember this is a survivor. YOU and your Mom may never know, but I think this cat knows how to survive. (((((((hugs))))))))

13. I suspect you are right!
Ms. HRH came in one more than one occassion with an indignent grey squirrel as big as her tiny herself in her mouth -- if push came to shove I DON'T think she'd starve. :)

Thanks for the good thoughts -- will keep everyone posted.

3. Sending good thoughts HRH's way
I know what it's like when a member of the family is missing. I've spent more than a few sleepless nights worrying over one of my furbabies.:-(

14. Mom has two other cats....
who have also done the overnight disappearing act -- in the area she lives in, it can be sooooo scary, especially when it's not uncommon to hear a pack of coyotes having a party just a few dozen feet away in the intersection. :scared:

4. Sending good Karma
Have you put up reward posters in your area? Sometimes cats leave home for tastier kibble at the neighbor's!

15. Yup ----
posters are going up as we speak.

I once had a cat who did just as you described -- took off to live with someone else because the house has too many cats for his taste.

If she left because of tastier treats at the neighbors they must be feeding her cavier on toastettes 'cause that girl didn't get the name "HRH" for nothin'! ;)

Thanks loads -- sorry I didn't get to talk with you much at the thing at the place a few weeks ago -- was distraught that I had to leave before receiving my very own tin foil hat. :)

7. Sending postive Kitty Karma
to Tahoe.

I hate it when the critters do that. Every time I go away for awhile my little Scully pouts and doesn't come back until I've been home for hours and am seriously worried.

:hi: Hell and Tahoe's Mom fellow kitty lovers.

18. You know what I hate?
When you are looking for them -- be it cluttered basement or in the neighborhood -- and you just KNOW as you're frantically calling out for them, they are sitting quietly in a safe, hidden place going "Neener neener neener!" Both my cats and Mom's have done just that, the little shits. :)

Thanks for the good thoughts!

9. I'm so sorry and hope that she comes home PDQ
My cousin, in Colorado, believes that her beloved cat was carried off by such a predator. He was a rescue cat and ``insisted'' on going outside. My cat was rescued, as well, but has become an indoor cat whether she likes it or not. Fortunately, she had had enough of the outside world when she was abandoned and on her own, so is content to look outside from the inside of the window. I think you should consider this for your missing kitty when, and I pray you do, find her. I will be thinking of her and you...

19. We're looking at a cat fence...
as we speak. I do hate not letting cats have SOME access to the outdoors -- but keeping them in a more contained environment can only be helpful and do away with worrisome times such as these.

Thanks for the good wishes!

20. HRH...
has a stubborn streak a m-i-l-e wide. Mom had The Stern Talk with her about bringing in too many of the native wildlife into the house and letting them go in Mom's bedroom. Now HRH just parades them around the backyard, just out of Mom's reach, and let's 'em loose.

Stinker.

I have a feeling Lil' Miss HRH won't be going outdoors for a long time after she returns home!
