I had hoped that I would have to change my username today

But it was as appropriate as I had suspected.

Although I maintained an optimistic front, I have had a terrible feeling about this election from the very beginning. I didn't dare express this, because I knew how everybody would reject such negative thoughts, or even accuse me of being a freeper.

Deep in my heart, I always knew it just couldn't happen for us. Did anybody else feel this way?

1. For me a let down...

I actually thought liberals would win this by a decent margin. For me, not one who is particularly optimistic, this was a kick in the face. I am deeply disillusioned, disappointed and angry. I'm ready for a new party.
