Nah. It is what it is.

I have my favorites, too, but even Lieberman is a far cry better than Bush.

I think Gore may be drafted. Clark and Dean also have a good shot. And there's also a chance that someone like Kerry or Gephardt will emerge.

Whoever does ... that's the standard-bearer. All flames then point toward Bush.

3. Not at all

The other candidates (non-Gore) are not yet known by the American people. Gore is. Gore represents all the people willing to vote for a Democrat in 2004, Gore's personality problems notwithstanding. Hence, I expect that almost any of the other candidates would be polling the same or better than Gore if we were closer to election day.

7. doesn't annoy me at all

I watched Clinton speak over the weekend and as much as I enjoyed it and missed him being Pres. I am still more impressed with what Gore has to say. Gore's last speech was breathtaking in it's honesty, depth and power.
