Good lord, what a wingnut. What a fathead.

This guy makes O'Really sound like a moderate.

I felt like I needed to rinse my ears with bleach after it was done.

(no point to be made - just a vent)

mistake he is from the same litter. I live in a right-wing news camp and there is no, I say no other talk radio options. So, I've rationalized that I can at least get a view of my enemy while I listen to the car radio.

Well, thats wearing thin...I'm looking into the Sirrus radio thing....

3. I have a serious question for you.

Why do you need to listen to any talk radio at all? I find NPR in the a.m. and evening plenty. If I want to learn about someone's opinion about an issue, I'll read an op ed. in a newspaper or check out a column at salon.com (along with listening to op-ed pieces on NPR).

I'm only asking because there was an article in the Atlanta Journal Constitution about our local public radio station. It is one of the only stations left in the country that plays classical music all day long. The pogram director seems to be taking a lot of crap because of keeping ti that way. In today's paper, people were saying that there needs to be MORE talk radio!

I like the idea of an all-day classical radio staion and don't understand why it can't be embraced. Do people really need to be all riled-up 24-7?

8. I have to admit, the appeal of talk-radio
is lost on me. Most markets have more than a few options for it and increasingly few alternatives to it. If talk-radio disappeared tomorrow, I have to wonder whether that would be such a bad thing.

7. You are quite mistaken
He proclaims himself a libertarian, but his inconsitency belies his ignorance.

5. Neal Boortz
Is interesting. He has his own opinions, and tackled republicans from time to time. (e.g. He humiliated Bob Barr in a debate about legalizing marijuana) He really does think, and really does have reasons, and really does prefer to have people who think differently call in so he can debate them (and he usually devastates them). He is in favor of banning smoking in public places. So he can surprise you.

But he has a pathological hatred of Democrats in general, and the Clintons speficially, and triple that for Hillary. He is far beyond reason about them.

He seems to believe "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" so he does pimp for republicans a lot.

But, most of all, Neal Boortz really just loves to piss people off.

6. I have listened to him before...
and that is how I heard about DU. He was complaining about it, and gave DU free advertising...so he isn't all bad.

I like his views on guns, gays, and legalizing pot, but for everything else he really just pisses me off.
