also, there's an r.e.m. greatest hits coming out. it only has two new tracks, but at least it's something to hold us over until the new album next year.

and there's a slim chance u2 will have their new album out by year's end, but more likely it will be spring

and if you haven't checked out carla bozulich's new cd (the singer of the late, lamented geraldine fibbers), then you're missing out
