Whatcha going to do when Isabel hits?
Like, watch TV, listen to short-wave radio, have sex, have a drink, go to sleep... what?

1. "run in circles, scream & shout?"
or maybe the beer thing. I dunno.

2. Ummm, depends on whether I have a house left or not
I guess.
If I do, we will stay and carry on as we have through any other disaster.
And in two days when everything is back to normal, so shall we be.

4. Pray for those in its path... even if it's me.
But mostly, BEFORE Isabel hits land, I'm using all of my psychic powers to try to make her die down and make a sharp turn to the northeast, by passing any land formations.....

5. Live wild
Unless it's predicted to be completely and totally insane for my area, I am probably going to wait out on the balcony of my dorm building and take in the surroundings and happenings.

I'm not suicidal so I'll of course go inside when it gets nuts, but I dunno, I just don't want to miss out on something that's not going to happen all that often. Of course, if it goes up to category 5 again and the track changes back to shoot up the Chesapeake Bay, then I suspect I'll change my mind, but for now, this sounds good.

Silly as it sounds

6. AFTER it hits...
I will call all my lEast coast relatives, and make sure they are OK...
If they aren't, I will do what I can to help.
If they are, I'm going to mock them about the danger of earthquakes in California compared to hurricanes, blizzards and heat waves.

7. Probably bail out my basement
We did have a pump put in after the last major tropical storm a few years ago, and it's made a big difference, but I'm not at all sure it will be up to dealing with 36 inches of rain in 6 hours, or whatever cockamamie thing the NOAA charts that keep getting posted seem to show.

So we'll probably all be down there with the buckets, frantically sloshing water into the utility tub.

11. I Hope The Power Dosen't Go Out
Might want to check into renting a small gas-powered water pump.

8. Hey, my sister lives in Southport, NC (on the coast)
Are they supposed to get hit?

Haven't talked with her in a long time. She is like Laura Bush (goes repug w/ her husband), and we are estranged kinda.

I am the "rebel" LOL!

10. Gonna have fun
I'm either gonna boogyboard up I95, or put a snorkel on the Probe and drive underwater.

Cat 4 Hurricane? Massive amounts of rainfall on already saturated ground? To affirm my geekness, I'm gonna quote Capt. Kirk. "Sounds like fun!"
