I never saw it, anyway.

I was going to include "Ben," about the kid and his pet rat, or that other one (remade recenty by the somewhat off-kilter Crispin Glover) about a pet killer rat, but I hadn't seen either - don't know how deep the love is between man and rodent in those films.

It's such a pity that the definitive movie about the love that a man feels for his remote control has yet to be made....

With Don Johnson and his mutt roaming a post-apocalyptic world. In the end, his new girlfriend demands he choose between her and the mutt. No contest. He and the dog eat her. I cried and cried and cried. What a sweet movie....

But all your offerings are excellent as movies guys would find romantic.

Though if I can go a little off topic, I find "The Road Home" (a Chinese film) to be very romantic (though romantic in the girl way, but I love that movie). Along with "Tampopo", also romantic.
