Don't laugh.
I bought a chain saw today. City-slicker DemoTex now owns an Echo chain saw. I also ordered three pairs of Pointer Brand overalls. I bought a couple of plaid shirts and I told the party (NC Democrats) that I am available for anything, including running for office. YES!

1. vrrooooom!
Chainsaws ROCK! Although, back when I was in shape, I really like just using an axe, if I had time.

3. Nah. I've bonded with the Echo salesman in Brevard.
I've bought a lawn mower, a weed eater, and now a chain saw from the lad. Made his week. First names, he and I.

4. Don't feel too bad
I fired mine up today just to make sure it'll run if any wayward trees happen to block my path when the hurricane hits. Side benefit of living where I do - neighbor has a dump truck and every single landscaping tool imaginable. Roads will not stay blocked for long. ;-)

5. What I feel bad about is ....
Not being able to use it yet. I'm solo here deep in the mountains. No way I'm using any power tools solo. No way!

7. 110/65 consistently.
That's on a atenolol/diazide combo that makes me need two deep naps per day. That's OK with me and my doc now. No fly, but who cares?

8. Shit makes you sleepy?
Wonder if....Naw, couldn't be...I find myself nodding off at my desk almost daily, and sometimes it's a shear battle of will to get home w/o having to pull over and take a nap...

Glad your numbers are finally down! Now get some 80/160M antennae up!
