The proper way to sit in a chair while wearing a short skirt is to keep your knees crossed and calves and ankles together. She was sitting with one leg crossed over the other pointing in a direction perpendicular to everything else.

One would think that a provost would have learned some couth. I can just imagine what they think of her in diplomatic circles overseas.
