Poll question: News Tickers... Love Em Or Hate Em?
You know... the crawling text across the bottom of the screen. The "headlines" and "non-headlines". The "pull-quotes" and "instant digests" of the speech currently IN PROGRESS. Are they useful to you? Do you read them? Or are they annoying, distracting, and silly?

world news site. It's at the top and doesn't interfere with viewing the rest of the page. Plus, I love how when they don't know enough because the situation is too new, it's HEADLINE - "More soon." LOL!

edit: Just foundout I can download the BBC newsticker to my desktop. That's new. For a news geek like me, that's Kewel!

because I invariably see half a line on some subject, then have to stay to see it the next go-round.
