Web Hosting Advice?

After 4 years I am gonna break off the relationship with my webhost. I run 4 to 5 domain names, only need one of those domains to host the email. My sites are low traffic, non-intensive so my monthly bandwidth isn't a big deal. I'm looking for about 100 megs of storage - which I know is silly - I have about 25 mgs of files so far and it won't grow by much.

Any advice on companies to consider? Ihave been happy with my present situation, but am finding the user interface hasn't updated and the cost (35/month for 10 domains and 200mg storage - one domain with email) seems too high from my limited forays on the web.

Any help appreciated.

5. Buy a cheap second computer

If you have a good internet connection, buy a cheap used computer, gut it out and install Apache on it. If your sites are low traffic, you can run a web server from your home on a $200 computer with no problem.

8. I've considered that

is apache hard to set up? I don't know it and would hate to get into anything with too steep of a learning curve? I've got a decent old pentium sitting around.

9. Nah, it's not too hard.

But if you're more comfortable with windows, you can install IIS from windows 2000, and it's very easy to set up and use.

I have a couple of sites there and have been very happy with them. I think it's around $8.95 a month. Their tech help is phenominal. Even on weekends--you can leave a message and they'll get back to you in less than an hour.
