The center of the storm is going to miss us and head directly to my projected bug-out location of Richmond Va.

I kicked Floyd's ass back in '99, so Isabel can suck my reproduction unit tomorrow!!!

Saddle up, Regulators!!!

2. Good Luck! I was in a Huge Hurricane in 1992 On the Island
of Kauai. A five and $$$Billions of Bucks in damage!

"Saddle Up!" is right. We were fortunate ..I don't think there were any deaths caused by Iniki. Just took over 5 years to rebuild.

6. Question:...when they say....'hit'...do they mean the eye..or just
hurricane force winds??? THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT...SINCE THE 'HIT' TIME IS THE EYE...THERE IS MUCH TO BE WORRIED ABOUT BEFORE THE 'HIT' TIME

7. Not as bad as two days ago
I'm not the only one who sticking around in my neighborhood. Most of the oldtimers are telling me that, in this area, they're staying put. Most of the newbies are taking a powder though.

Besides, the predicting is 75Mph here in Hampton.

I'm thinking, "What the Fuck?"

We're staying.

9. You're in Hampton?
I'm in VA Beach and we're riding it out, too. Some of our friends from the evacuated Lynnhaven neighborhood are joining us for a 48 hour hurricane party, tho.

11. I'm not near the water
That storm surge is going to have to take out the entire peninsula to get to me.

8. Is it just me
Or are the weather people giving it more of war like attitude than they have in previous years. I'm used to the slams and punches of past hurricanes but this seems new to me. Here's the latest from weather.com: "The advance forces from Hurricane Isabel--its outer rain bands--are swirling just off Cape Hatteras now. The hurricane continues its relentless march toward North Carolina and landfall remains likely sometime around midday tomorrow..."
