Has global warning changed your micro-climate?

Here in the Northern Califoria foothills, global warming over the past 10 years has really made the winters even more mild. It never snows hard below 2000 ft now, when it used to quite often before, although I think it's rained fairly consistently throughout. Summers are a bit hotter, but now it seems there's only one real awful heat wave that lasts more than a week. Seems like earlier years you'd see 2 or 3 really awful periods of high pressure in summer. I've heard lots of others notice gradual change, some good, some bad depending on location.

1. The Pacific Northwest had its hottest, driest summer on record.

Chimpy McCokespoon was here last month, and probably didn't notice. 'Cause it's always hot and dry on the pig farm!

2. Back in MN

The winters have been supper mild since that first big La Nina in what 98? I haven't been cross country skiing in almost two years cause there is rarely enough snow.

we've been getting hotter summers in Seattle. This last one felt more like California.
