Cure for depression...
...I'm going to buy this guitar which is on sale at Sam Ash for $349.00. What I've always wanted is one of these, but they're about $1100.00. I think this one will be fun. I deserve a new guitar.

:)

1. Just depends on what kind of noise you want to make
I have a Guild x-170 which is very much like the one you are buying except that it has a Bigsby pull on it ( for vibrato) The hollowbody is nice for many tunes especially for jazz and country style tunes. Aria makes a nice classical electric and you can find used GIBSON CE's for decent prices. I have a handmade CE from the guy that Gibson bought the design from for theirs (that was only $4000.00 :D )

Either way...ask yourself what you want to play...if you really want a CE then check the Recycler papers for them...in a bad economy great deals can be found on guitars.

3. I have 7 guitars already.
I like to play all kinds of guitars. Most of my recordings are guitar and voice only, and people always think they can hear piano, bass, flute, all kinds of things. I want an electric guitar with nylon strings, which is about the only thing I don't have. I do have a nice pick-up in my classical. Anyway, I'll go down to the store and play a bunch of guitars, but when Cliff showed me this one in Sam Ash's mailing today, I thought it looked pretty cool.

5. You definitely deserve a new guitar!
I'd be happy if I could just get the high E string on mine to stay tied. ;-) (I cut my nails and everything!)

You can never get too much DU, watch too much BookTV, or have to many guitars or keyboards. LOL!

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting your guitar collection. Are there any other F-holes in there? (You know mine's a C-hole, my favorite.) You'll have to introduce me to the guitar family next time I visit.

An F-hole electric arch-top with nylon strings sounds like the best of all possible worlds. You definitely deserve a new guitar!

6. Go for it!
I want to replace the early '80s Fender Bullet H-2 that was sold in the great hobby sell-a-thon of 1998. I should have never sold that one though. :-(

Oh well, not a priority, but it's something I'd like to own again.
