I don't know what to expect from this one as the band has a different line-up now....

Former Marilyn Manson bassist Jeordie (Twiggy Ramirez) White and ex-Smashing Pumpkins axeman James Iha are now members, so I'm expecting this cd to be a bit different than the first one.

I just think Tool are the most overrated band to come out of the post-Nirvana years.

8. Picked it up yesterday

I consider it to be excellent. Not too much in the way of crunchy rock and roll, though. Reminds me a bit of Tool's latest in that sound is very subdued at times and music meanders through subtle changes. I think the first song is great by itself and the last couple pick things up but it is an album that seems to be of a piece and best heard in its entirety. Maynard's lyrics are very good. One cover song (Nurse) seems strange but fits concept, IMHO. Four out of five stars.
