UGH News:
"God has spoken to us, and the message is loud and clear," Falwell told his congregation today. "The path of the hurricane is God's voice, and God's voice alone. It hit the White House head on, and there is only one message that can be taken from this day. There is no doubt that the sins of the White House are to blame for this disaster. God has taken action, and we must follow in his footsteps!"
Rev. Pat Robertson concurred. In an interview later in the day, he said, "I didn't want to believe. I struggled to see the light. It was dim and blurry, but now it's shining bright. I prayed for this hurricane to strike down evil and to leave the righteous in peace, and God always listens to my prayers, acting according to my righteous wishes. This message hits home. It hits hard, but it is a true and righteous message, and I must recognize it -- the Roman Catholic demons be damned." After a pause, the reverend spoke further, "The devil comes in many disguises, and it's clear that he came as a member of the Bush family. I thank God almighty for showing us the way through his vengeful kindness!"
