Especially General Discussion? We're hardly united. Unless the uniting principle is hatred of Bush, and turning down the radio when his irritating voice comes on, lest we vomit. But I'm not sure hate is a good uniting priciple.

9. Hey...

DU has been good enough to hold us together when that pretender was selected president and mourned (as well as protested) during the swearing in and the innaguration fol de rol. It was here for us ever day when Bush started tearing down everything Clinton built up and most of all it was here on 9/11 when we were all in a state of shock and fear. Its been here for the Iraq debacle and it will be here for the election.

For me....it doesn't need a name change.....its democratic underground....or DU for those "in the know" :hi:
