Has Spam gotten worse in the last week?

I've had a ton of it and just got a whole slew of Spam from "Microsoft," "Administrator," and "Technical Support," saying

Dear friend , use this Internet Explorer patch now!
There are dangerous virus in the Internet now!
More than 500.000 already infected!
----
With probably infected attachments, of course. Deleting them on my ISPs Web email service before they ever get to my machine.

Gawd, I hate spammers.

1. Not for me

I get the usual "ADD 4 INCHES!" and "GET PRESCRIPTION DRUGS ONLINE!" crap.

2. I've managed to screen those out

I hate the thought of having to change my email address but may have to to get out from under this. I'm paying my ISP for spam screening, I've got filters on, and I'm still getting a ton of this garbage. I'm afraid to even get my email without screening it on through my ISP on the Web first.

I guess the spammers are getting better at it.

3. I answer all my spam...

so far, I've got 381 cell phones, 568 credit cards, 9,463 inkjet cartridges, 132,000 frequent flyer miles, and a 24 foot penis.
