What's your favorite comfort food?
My dad always got me orange sherbet when I was sick. I always want some when I don't feel good.

fresh leek-potato soup, still hot from the stove with really dense bread covered with butter.

i like to put a fresh sorrano pepper into the mix to give it a special little kick.

but I eat a lot of red licorice when I'm down. My favorite comfort food used to be beer, but then someone told me that if didn't contain enough vitamins and minerals and it could explain those nasty headaches and funny looks from people the next day...

17. They are so cute
take a muffin cutter and cut the center out of a piece of bread..

butter and brown both sides in a skillet..

Carefully butter the piece of bread (should look like a picture frame for a roound picture}..and put in the skillet

drop a teensy bit of butter in the center..gently place the egg into the center.. flip it over (don't break the yolk)..

You end up with a piece of round toast and another piece with a fried egg center..

Hobo eggs..:)

I'm sure King Tut in his condo madea stonea was a huge fan.
My comfort food is tomato soup but...I cut up little pieces of Hoffman super sharp cheese and put the cheese in the spoon and then let the soup melt the cheese. mm mm good. I like mashed potatoes, bread, I like waffle house hash browns smothered and scattered.

Tunafish is good, as well. On soft white bread with lots of mayonnaise. Oh, no, my cat overheard! She has shared tuna with me the last two days. She had dental surgery on Tuesday and I have given her the water from the canned tuna because it's something she could consume without chewing!:-)

red pepper seeds, sea salt and parmesan cheese. This is not for when you are sick, of course, but it is good to have with some wine if you have had a bad day and want a little something to cheer you up.

have gotten to me!:-)

Tomato soup is one thing, but not tomato rice! Once when I was very small my dad made me lunch, which was quite unusual. He offered me a choice of soups and that's what I picked. It turned out I really hated it, so my dad made me sit there for the rest of the day, staring at that disgusting bowl of congealing soup. That remained a joke between my dad and me for the rest of his life. Thanks for jogging my memory, corarose!:-)
