For a while I was wondering whether Camp McCain was named after Senator John McCain's father. Today I conducted a search on Camp McCain and found out that it was named after Major General Henry P. McCain. I tried to determine if General McCain was to grandfather of Senator McCain. I did a search on General McCain, but could not find a biography that listed his family. The only thing I could find was to history of Camp McCain. Does anyone know if Genral McCain is the grandfather of Senator McCain or if he is related to Senator McCain?
