End of The World plus five weeks. How ya doin?

I have turned away from the news, had recurring bad dreams about losing the election, sometimes feel physically ill about it, do anything to avoid hearing THAT MAN'S voice (such is my contempt for *).

I listen to a little Franken and that's it.

that's kind of misleading. I'm not sure how to describe malloy, something like on fire, hell fire, blockbuster, nuklear. he does not mince words.

2. I'm totally back in the battle!

I just took on organizing the Democracy for America meetup and the Democratic Party meetup. Tonight is our DFA meetup, and on the 14th the Dem Party meetup, and right after that the Party's holiday gathering on the 20th.

I thought I'd still be in a funk, since I was working full-time for the campaign during September and October, but I actually feel just the opposite. It may be left over adrenaline :silly:

3. Given up network news, like a bad habit...

4. Im better

than I was. I still cant seem to have made it completely out of this funk yet. Im trying so hard not to let my hate eat me alive and Im struggling with it. I WANT to be positive and I WANT to think I can believe even bits of things that I hear on the news, but I question EVERYTHING! I think I need a break from it all. DU has helped me alot.. just being around people who are going through what I am going through.

6. Better than 2000

I was really sick about that one. I avoid the mainstream media, turn off THAT VOICE, and will ignore as best I can political events.

A little Daily Show, Randi, and a dash of Franken.

We'll see where events take us. Look on the bright side, just ~47 months until there's a new President-elect.

7. Having stress headaches and anxiety attacks

Weird dreams, staying up really late to avoid the next day coming, filth piling up at home, important tasks not getting done, and completely ineffective at work.

Can anyone say, "Clinical Depression"? Good thing I have my meds.

8. Had cable turned off, don't watch TV...got back into reading and

have been playing Morrowind constantly since Nov 3rd..

But yeah still have no faith in America or 59 million Americans (like they care), have been trying to focus on things at home...and getting my ass to Seattle heh.
