As a feminist activist, I've been on the receiving end of this type of rage. It's an extension of what rush and others do and say. It's the kind of rage I saw in Timothy McVeigh; I see it in Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Newt Gingrich, Ralph Reed, et. al. In this case it's blatant rather than covert. I've seen it "acted out" at women's health clinics, women's rights protests and marches, in the lives of women beaten to a bloody pulp by a husband/boyfriend/father/uncle.

I now wonder if the recent "mandate" will let these folks think they can "act out" their rage in more overt and dangerous ways. If so, the Oklahoma City bombing, murder of women's doctors, and family health clinic bombings will seem like a "walk in the park" compared to what these psychotic personalities will do in the future.

And no, I don't think for one moment they'll act out against women only. And now I'll take off my tin foil hat so someone here can tell me I'm wrong. Because I so want to be wrong about this.
