Poll question: Dieting.

1. I chose "I am dieting right now." but that is not necessarily true...

...I've been overweight for pretty much all my life. I went on a diet (a pretty brutal one I might add) in senior year of high school (2001-2002). I skipped breakfast, ate a small lunch and dinner, and had absolutely nothing in between meals, and I didn't eat anything after 6:00PM. I lost over 60 pounds if I remember correctly. I was down to 145. My motivation was this girl I liked, but after high school, I gained it all back (and more). I got up to over 220. But, this year, I moved in with my dad and have lost 40 pounds since about May. I am at 160 right now. I didn't really have any motivation this time. It was a combination of living on the second floor of my dad's condo, and him being unemployed so we can't afford groceries every week. Also, my mom buys WAY too many groceries, even for three kids.

If you're from New Orleans, that means you eat mostly crawfish and beer.

Swamp Rats like Hot Pepper Jack cheese, beer, pizza, any kind of seafood, alligator, turtle, and especially crawfish. We're not to excited about the culinary habits of our cousins.

4. Ahh that's just disgusting.

May as well be eating a bowl of cockroaches.

6. Cockroaches boil down to nothing and they are harder to catch

They fly down here and can run about six feet per second. Plus, the protein to calorie burn ratio is not favorable. Roaches are better smoked. :smoke:
