11. SciFi runs a select few at 8:00 AM CST on Saturday
Mostly the same episodes over and over again, and never anything from the Comedy Central era MST3K.

24. Has anyone tried to watch Manos without the MST commentary?
OH MY GOD it is the creepiest movie ever made, and intentionally so, I guess. Don't watch it after 7:00 PM...it's that scary! All those pregnant pauses, the grainy film, the sax and tom-tom musical score....Crow was right, it looks like a snuff film would look like if I knew what they actually looked like (huh?)

BTW, I have almost all (missing 14, I believe) of the Comedy Central episodes on tape, but I've never seen any of the Sci-Fi channel episodes (for reasons I shall not get into here)and would LOVE to get my hands on some of them. If anybody wants to set up a trade, please e-mail me...

PS I have only four season one episodes, so don't ask me for those!

30. Manos, w/o commentary
I had the dubious fortune to have read about the film somewhere - Psychotronic Video? Phantom of Video? and rented it before it ever ran on MST3K. It's plenty good/bad enough w/o the commentary - it was apparently made by the same guy who stars in it, who was a TX fertilizer salesman who had never made a movie before.

Whenever I see a DU'er complaining that "Dr. Giggles" or some other lame piece o' crap was the worst film ever made, I just gotta tell 'em, "Youngster, y'all don't have a clue 'bout bad."
