About two months ago I read Rush Limbaugh is a Big, Fat Idiot and now I'm reading Lies. I must tell you I am in love with the man. He seems like someone I would really like to meet. His brand of humor is hard to classify...sardonic?

I love it!

I wish I could get my RW friends to read it, but there's about as much chance of that as there is of Bush coming clean, pulling the troops out of Iraq and owning up to every lie he's told since taking, er stealing, office.

Having just bailed from the Republican party, I can tell you that most Republicans have blinders on. And they don't hear any of the stuff that Franken exposes.

I've only sent fan mail to one or two people in my whole life. One of them was Ronald Reagan. Please don't hurt me. My parents indoctrinated me. And yes, I even voted for him, Bush Sr. and Bush Jr.

Thanks to people like Franken, the blinders have been lifted. I have a feeling that besides being intelligent and articulate, he's a very nice person, as well...someone you'd like to invite over for dinner.
