My car is going synthetic tomorrow!

I am very excited...my '98 Subaru Legacy wagon (with the mighty 2.2L engine) is getting all synthetic fluids tomorrow.
Transmission: BG Syncroshift (I think, it a big flush thingie they do and then use BG synthetic ATF).
Front & rear differentials: AMSOil Series 2000 75w90
Engine: Redline 5w30

Pricey, but this car needs to last a long time! Brands are largely determined by what's easily available locally, and the two synthetic oils are both sold at a shop about 3 min from where I work. The car has 105k miles and I believe it's on the original ATF and differential oil...

Not a lot, 1-2 mpg, but every little bit helps.

2. i hope you allowed for a break in period..

it's not good for the engine to go straight to the synthetic, and the preferred method is to break it in with a couple of cycles using the synthetic blend.

4. sorry, i should have phrased it better..

when I switched over to the synth in my Grand Prix (1998 GTP, 62,000 miles), my mechanic advised me to introduce the motor to the synthetic oil by using a synthetic blend (a blend of synthetic and conventenial oil, like Valvoline DuraBlend) rather than just going full synth. I used the DuraBlend for two oil changes.
