Why do car dealerships think we're so stupid?

I just heard a radio commercial for a Ford dealership declaring that if they can't beat anyone's price by $500, they will give you $10,000!

I can hear them now: "Sorry, sir, we can't beat that price by $500 SO HERE IS A CHECK FOR $10,000 INSTEAD!"

there is nothing worse than a car dealer,i would rather get a tax audit and route cannal on acid with my hair on fire than go to a car dealership and be treated like i just arrived from Guam and rode in on a Bison.
