The results are unscientific of course, but...
Because you can find anything on the web, there is a site out there that allows you to make your own interactive web quizzes. It is called Quizilla, and can be found at www.quizilla.com . It's something I discovered through livejournal. The average age, I would imagine, of a quizilla.com user is about 17 (being in my 30s, I pull it up a bit) and the population appears to be heavily female. Anyway, one of the first quizzes I made was That's Your Bush! (
http://www.quizilla.com/users/plaidder), which tells you which evil Bush is the one you believe in (Drunken Frat Boy, Commander In Thief, Mr. Hat, Fundie Wacko, Fascist Pig, etc.).
It gives me somewhat dubious pride to say that for about a week "That's Your Bush!" was one of the highest rated quizzes on Quizilla and it's now been taken some 24000 times. Anyway, Quizilla has a feature you can use to send people feedback on the quizzes I created, and somehow I only found out about my inbox today. So I checked it, and there were 20 messages about "That's Your Bush!" 14 for, 5 against.
25% approval! It's more than he deserves...but it's not too close to call!
The emails from the pro-Bush Quizillians were pretty funny, although lamentably uninventive. The formula goes like this:
1) Claim not to 'get' the 'point' of the quiz (coudl be true, who knows)
2) "I happen to like President Bush and think he is the best president ever" (slight variations, but only slight)
3) Assertion that were it not for Bush, I woudl not have the freedom to make stupid little quizzes like this
4) "Shut up" (or words to that effect)
5) Optional: slam on Al Gore.
Ah well. There you have it: another internet community solidly against Bush.
C ya,
