Only Republican I ever vote for
I'm a registered "independent." But I always vote for the Democrat. Except for my cousin who is in the State House. He's republican, but he's my cousin and he seems nice. I vote for him. Is that bad?

1. No, it's a family thing. Unless he's right-wing or off his rocker...
And that doesn't seem to be the case. Do you know where he actually is on the political spectrum, or where stands on the issues?

Just wanted to chime in a note of support for your situation. I have some relatives here that are republicans, and some of them I vote for. But if they actually had an influence on state wide policy they could forget getting help from me.

8. well
If it was local, I'd say yes.

But statewide... that's hard for me to justify. I don't even have a vote yet, but I am pretty sure I wouldn't waste it on somebody who doesn't represent my interests.
