Okay, so yesterday I took the bus to work and back, as I am now no longer able to drive the car that soon will no longer be mine. I brought with me my portable CD player and a vinyl CD wallet that had the following CDs in it:
Rush - "Rush in Rio"
Dream Theater - "Live at Budokan"
Pearl Jam - "No Code"
Conspiracy (Chris Squire of Yes' side project) - "The Unknown"
OSI - "Office of Strategic Influence"
The Beta Band - "Heroes to Zeroes"
In my infinite brilliance I managed to not properly return the CDs to my bag when changing a disc and now they're apparently lost forever. I called the CAT lost and found and nothing was turned in.
What's worst of all about this is that the live Rush and Beta Band CDs belonged to the goddamn library. The other ones, with the exception of "No Code", were less than two weeks old. I hadn't bought any music in over a year, and with all the stress I've been under lately I felt the need to splurge on something for the first time in f**king forever.
I bet the son of a bitch who has the CD wallet will just take the stuff they don't know (or have the intellect for) and toss it in a dumpster. I don't know whether to be angrier with myself or them. :(
