Are bi-racial people alot hotter than other people?

Or does it just happen that FAMOUS bi-racial people tend to be so much more good-looking.

I'm flipping around unable to sleep back home from partying and I stumbled on TRL, and I just can't believe how insanely hot that host Vanessa Minillo is (google image search for her). And then I thought she kind of resembled Jessica Alba (who's half Mexican and crazily beautiful) and then I thought about other famous bi-racial people. Halle Berry, Alicia Keyes, and for the ladies of course Lenny Kravitz.

So am I just blabbering or do I have a legitimate argument?

there is also a "mysterious" thing to it. people never really know what race they are. i think i remember a lot of times people commenting on someone being attractive and then wondering where they are from or what race they are since it's not really clear.

I don't think race makes a damn bit of difference.

Many of the famous biracial people may have worked extra hard to enhance their charm to land acting or musician jobs, but overall, people are people no matter what their "race" is.

Here's a for-instance. I've had four pretty close friends who are ethnically Basque. All of them (two of each gender) are considered to be complete sexpots. And yet, Basque country ("Euskal Herria": Northern Spain and Southern France) has also produced a lot of Roman Catholic mystic monks and nuns, who are generally celibate.

I don't expect Playboy to do a "Girls of Basque Country" issue any time soon.

I also have met very few people of Polish background who are bad looking, and the Russians and Ukrainians don't do too bad, either. But many, many people would disagree with me.

I think it's the luck of the draw. Completely.

There are plenty of insanely gorgeous people who aren't biracial, from almost any ethnic background you could care to name. Russian, Japanese, Ethiopian, Arab, Jewish, Indian, English, French, German, et cetera...and I've seen plenty of UGLY bi-racial people, too. The attractiveness comes in when there is some striking and aesthetically pleasing combination of features from different ethnic backgrounds, I think. It's not that they're more attractive...it's that they're attractive in a way you aren't used to seeing, due to an uncommon mix of ethnic phenotypes.

the people who end up on TV are usually better looking than the people you see around you day to day. Every race and ethnic group has some (physically) beautiful people. I think that science has shown symmetry to be attractive.

the famous bi-racial people are per capita a hundred times more good looking than non.

Also, I think that I just might be more attracted too people like that. Everyone has their own preferences for what they're attracted too.

There was one chick there that was a solid 9.5 (Tall slim model type) and she was begging to get "it." I think she paid some guy to do her that night...ridiculous...

I chose the hottest black woman I ever saw...she was 37 years old with the rock solid body of a 20 year old...she was born in Suriname, but now lives in Holland...beautiful, really cool, passionate, and fun....All during Carnaval.

That being said, I do find a cross between white and Asian to be the best....melts me...although that is less likely in Brazil which is more known for the mixing of Latin and black - really awesome as long as they keep in shape!

Some day I will grow up and stop chasing women around like this...some day....I gotta stop being greedy and demanding it all I guess....I like what I mentioned above as well as a strong education, general intelligence/common sense, sense of adventure, and ambition - might be asking a bit much........but why settle when you have seen examples of this before (but were taken)?

Feminists do not bash me - I have heard stories about how women in all girl clubs can be worse than men!

15. My dumb theory why bi-racial people could be better looking on average

In America, many people have certain hang-ups about race. Yes, as hard as it is to believe, it is true.

So, picking a sex partner or marriage partner is a market just like anything else. Every person brings to the market a set of "goods" that are relevant to that market. Attractiveness, personality, wealth and social status are the ones that spring to mind right away.

So, what relevance is this? Bi-racial couples generally get grief in so many ways. Why be in a bi-racial relationship? If one's differently raced spouse is very good looking (and better looking that one could get with a same-raced spouse) then it may offset the crap you would have to put up with. (And that crap is huge. People in mixed raced marriages have told me it is not an issues in their lives because they live in a liberal area. Well, what if you didn't? Aren't your housing -and therefore job- choices limted? Not fair.)

This means that there may be more attractive parents creating bi-racial children. The racial make-up has little to do with it, but the parental genes do.
